
Men's Tennis Notches Win Over The Citadel

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The DePaul men's tennis team recorded a 6-1 victory over The Citadel on Tuesday afternoon in Charleston, South Carolina.
The Blue Demons (11-6) swept in doubles action. Alex Galoustian and Nathan de Veer defeated Matthew Henson and Willem van Zyl 6-3 at the top spot, while Tim Corwin and Boris Spanjaard won 7-5 at No. 2 over Isaac Stolar and Michael Anzalone. Christopher Casati and Fran Tonejc defeated Connor Grady and Noah Nawabi 6-2 at No. 3.
In singles action, Casati notched the first point at No. 5 6-0, 6-2 against Roy Hobson. Galoustian followed with a 6-3, 6-0 finish over Henson.
de Veer played No. 1 to defeat Anzalone 6-0, 6-3, while Tonejc earned a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 6 against Jack Pyritz.
Spanjaard won at No. 3 over van Zyl 7-5, 6-3.
DePaul returns to action in Charleston, S.C. on Wednesday, March 22 at 9 a.m. CT to take on South Carolina State.
