DePaul Announces Three Staff Additions

New full-time staff members join department
CHICAGO – The DePaul athletics department announced three staff additions today in the communications, marketing and sports medicine departments. Ryan Grebner, Alejandro Trevino and Roger Uy have joined the department as full-time assistant directors. Grebner is the newest member of the sports medicine department, Trevino joins the communications office and Uy is now with the marketing department.
Grebner returns to DePaul after a two-year stint as a graduate assistant from 2016-18. He spent the last two years earning his masters degree at DePaul while working in the sports medicine department. Grebner primarily worked with the volleyball, softball and track and field programs and assisted with coverage of men's and women's basketball. In addition to his experience at DePaul, he has also worked as a student assistant Butler from 2014-16 and St. Vince Sports Performance in Indianapolis. While at Butler, Grebner also worked with the sports medicine staff at the NFL Combine in 2013 and 2014.
Trevino is the newest full-time member of the athletics communications department as an assistant director. Trevino earned his undergraduate degree from DePaul in 2018 and worked in the communications office leading the video and digital production. As a student worker, Trevino served as the department's liaison with the FOX and the BIG EAST Digital Network. He also upgraded DePaul's online presence with video features and highlights in coordination with the marketing department in athletics and across the University community.
Uy joins the marketing staff as an assistant director and will guide DePaul's community outreach program. He completed his graduate degree from DePaul in 2017 after working as a graduate assistant in the marketing department. Over the past year, Uy has served as a marketing assistant in developing and executing marketing programs for the men's and women's basketball teams.
