Alexa Havon and Henry Harper lead teams for third time this season
STILLWATER, Okla. – Third time's a charm for Henry Harper and Alexa Havon who led their respective Blue Demon squads at the NCAA Midwest Cross Country Regional hosted by Oklahoma State. The men's team saw a 23rd place finish in the 10K championship race while the women tallied a 28th place finish in the 6K.

The top finisher on the women's side was freshman Alexa Havon who also led in three of the last four meets of the season. The Andover, Minn. native clocked in a 22:52.2 time in the 6,000-meter race to come in 118th place. Senior Courtney Pickering followed closely behind with a 23:05.7 finish to place 139th in the field of 231 racers. Rounding out the point total for the squad was Margaret Hastings, Violet Harper and Maret Elgren.

Henry Harper rounded off his senior season leading the men's squad for the third time this season, two weeks after being the top Blue Demon finisher at the BIG EAST Cross Country Championship. Harper's 32:39.9 finish in the 10,000-meter championship race was good for 80th place in the pack of 27 teams. Fellow senior Noah Deck, who led the squad at the Bradley Pink Invite, placed 115th with a time of 33:12.3. Ryan Taylor, Ryan Bonfiglio and Shane Knanishu rounded out the point total for DePaul.
