Under current local health regulations, fans will not be in attendance to start the 2020-21 DePaul basketball seasons
CHICAGO – With the start of the NCAA college basketball season on the horizon and the ongoing pandemic surging locally in the state of Illinois and city of Chicago, a difficult decision has been made regarding fan attendance to start the season at DePaul men's and women's basketball home games.
Under current local health regulations, fans will not be in attendance to start the 2020-21 DePaul basketball seasons.
The health and safety of our DePaul community remains our top priority. In order to allow for a competition to take place given current health restrictions, DePaul men's and women's basketball will start the 2020-21 season with no fans in attendance. While there is still uncertainty regarding fan attendance for games later in the season, any tickets for home games during the 2020-21 season will only be available on a single-game ticket basis. Therefore, it has been established that there will not be a season ticket package option for this year, but existing season ticket holders will have priority in purchasing tickets on a game-by-game basis if attendance is permitted for future home games this season.
The 2020-21 season will be treated as a gap year for current season ticket holders. All renewing accounts will have the first opportunity to renew their commitments for the 2021-22 season at a later date in 2021. Supporters with Premium Club Seat and Luxury Suite leases will have the option to extend their lease or keep the existing agreement in place. If at some point during the 2020-21 season fans are allowed to attend games, existing season ticket holders will receive information and be given priority to purchase any single-game tickets ahead of the general public.
All Season Ticket Holders that have previously placed commitment memberships or ticket deposits this past summer can choose one of three options:
