
DePaul Moves Up Two Spots During Round Two

Noah Kolar leads the team heading into the final round on Monday
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The DePaul golf team moved up two spots opened the Loyola (Md.) Intercollegiate on Sunday while Noah Kolar posted the best round of the day by a Blue Demons and is tied for 52nd place. The final round is scheduled for Monday morning.
Kolar is in a group in 52nd place after a 70 (-2) on Sunday that followed his opening score of 78 (+6) for a two-round total of 148 (+4). Conor Glennon is tied for 60th at 149 (+5) following a 74 (+2) in the second round. Glennon posted the top DePaul round on Saturday with a 75 (+3).
Stephen Sul is tied for 77th and Nik Gatmaytan is in a group in 85th place. Sul carded a 75 (+3) and is at 151 (+7) for the tournament while Gatmaytan has posted two rounds of 76 (+4) for a score of 152 (+8). Perry Chong's rounds of 78 (+6) give him a 36-hole total of 156 (+12) and in a tie for 105th place.
Drake's two-day team score of 568 (-8) moved them into first place on the team leaderboard with a one shot lead over Loyola Marymount. The Blue Demons posted a team score of 295 (+7) for a two-round score of 600 (+24) and sit in 16th place. Delaware's Roberto Nieves and Air Force's Joseph Crisostomo are tied for first with total scores of 138 (-6).
The third and final round at Palm Valley Golf Club is scheduled for an 8:45 a.m. CT start. Live scoring is available at GolfStat.com.
