Second round set for Saturday morning starting at 8 a.m. ET

PINEHURST, N.C. – The DePaul golf team complete the first day of competition at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate with Conor Glennon leading the team in a tie for 24th after the opening round. The second round is set for an 8 a.m. ET start on Saturday.

Glennon is in a group in 24th place after finishing the first circuit of Pinehurst No. 8 with a score of 77 (+6). Noah Kolar and Stephen Sul are a shot behind Glennon in a group in 27th with scores of 78 (+7). Nik Gatmaytan opened his tournament with an 81 (+10) and is tied for 51st while Campbell Wolf is tied for 60th after carding an 82 (+11). Perry Chong is playing as an individual and also posted an 82 (+11) and is in the group in 60th place.

The Blue Demons are in 10th place after team score of 314 (+30) on Saturday. Elon is atop the team leader board with a seven-shot lead after posting a combined score of 291 (+7). Elon's Graham Hutchinson and Max Ferrari are tied for first after each posted an even-round score of 71 on Saturday.
