BIG EAST Announces Spring TV Info, DePaul Softball to Host Providence on FS1

DePaul softball hosts Providence at The Ballpark in Rosemont on March 21
CHICAGO - The BIG EAST office has officially released coverage for upcoming championship events and select regular-season matchups. The conference announced that DePaul softball's contest with Providence on Sunday, March 21 will be aired on FS1 and be played at The Ballpark in Rosemont at 1:30 p.m. CT.
The Blue Demons last played at The Ballpark in Rosemont when the site played host to the 2019 BIG EAST Softball Tournament. DePaul's last time appearing on FS1 also occurred during the conference tournament that spring - the Blue Demons topped Providence, 4-0, in an opening-round victory on the network.
DePaul women's soccer is slated to be featured on the BIG EAST Digital Network on March 28. DePaul's matchup against Xavier in Lincoln Park at Wish Field will kick off at 1:00 p.m. CT.
Within the BIG EAST, FS1, FS2 and CBS Sports Network will combine to air at least 20 contests this spring, while the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi will cover nearly 50 events. Seven BIG EAST Championships will have their title games air to national television audiences, beginning on April 3 with the volleyball final live from D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha, Neb. Coverage on FS1 begins at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Additional nationally televised championship games include men's soccer (April 17, FS2, 3 p.m.) and women's soccer (April 18, FS1, 11 a.m.). The semifinals and final of the BIG EAST Softball Championship will air on FS2, set for May 14-15 at Burrill Family Field on the campus of the University of Connecticut.
