Madeline Lewis, Dory Latenser, Keira Taylor joined Blue Demons at quarter break
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer announced three transfer additions earlier this month, as freshmen Madeline Lewis and Keira Taylor and sophomore Dory Latenser joined the Blue Demons at the winter break.
"We are pleased to welcome three new transfers to the DePaul women's soccer program," said head coach Michele O'Brien. "Each student-athlete brings a unique background and distinct qualities that will strengthen our team. They are individuals of great character who will continue to learn and grow within our program while pushing our current group forward, serving as valuable contributors both on and off the field."
Lewis joins DePaul following her freshman season at Northern Illinois, where she appeared in five matches and logged 80 minutes at midfield. A Barrington, Ill. native, Lewis brings a strong high school and club background to Lincoln Park. She helped Barrington High School to a state runner-up finish in 2023 and a third-place showing in 2025, while capturing conference championships in 2023, 2024 and 2025. During her senior season, Lewis totaled 13 goals and four assists, earning First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Area and IHSA State Tournament First XI honors. At the club level, she competed with FC1974 Libertyville, earning ECNL/RL Heartland All-Regional Team recognition in 2025.
Hailing from Kansas City, Kans., Latenser arrives at DePaul after two seasons at Southern Illinois. The sophomore appeared in 37 matches and logged nearly 3,000 minutes with the Salukis. During the 2025 campaign, she started 19 matches, recording three goals, one assist and two game-winning tallies. As a freshman, Latenser appeared in 18 matches with 14 starts, adding one goal and one assist. She earned Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors twice during her SIU career.
Taylor makes the move to Lincoln Park after spending her freshman season at Penn, where she redshirted and retains four years of eligibility. A Millbrook High School graduate, Taylor helped lead her team to an East Regional runner-up finish during her senior spring, marking the program's first trip past the Sweet 16 since 1989. She recorded six goals and three assists on the year and earned All-Conference and All-Region honors. Taylor also brings extensive club experience from the North Carolina Courage Academy, where she served as a team co-captain and competed in the ECNL National Playoffs Sweet 16 in 2024.
