Kolar Leads DePaul in Final Round of Craft Farms Intercollegiate

DePaul finishes 12th in three-day event
GULF SHORES, Ala. – Noah Kolar led DePaul Golf by posting a 71 (-1) in the third and final round of the Craft Farms Intercollegiate on Monday. The Blue Demons wrapped up the three-day event in Gulf Shores, Ala. by finishing 12th as a team. By shooting under par in the final round, Kolar finished tied for 28th on the individual leaderboard, the highest finish for any Blue Demon.
After posting back-to-back +1 rounds, Artemiy Yalovenko carded a 77 (+5) to close out the event. Yalovenko finished +7 in the tournament, logging a 44th place finish.
Aarjav Patel found his rhythm as play progressed during the first two days and assembled his best day of the tournament on Tuesday. Patel posted a 72 (E) after logging a birdie on the final hole of the tournament. Patel finished tied for 53rd among individuals in the event.
Grant Boyson also logged his best round of the event, posting a 74 (+2) in the final round. Boyson finished +20, tied for 71st. Nick Gatmaytan finished just ahead of Boyson with a final total of +15 after a third round score of 81 (+9).
As a team, DePaul finished +29 through the three rounds. The Blue Demons carded a 294 as a team in the final round, the squad's lowest score of the tournament. BIG EAST foe, UConn, logged a final score of +32 behind the Blue Demons.
Up next for the Blue Demons is the Missouri Tiger Invitational on April 11-12. The three-round, two-day event takes place at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Mo. That event is the final tune-up for the BIG EAST Championship on April 25-27 in Pine Mountain, Ga.
