DePaul Mourns the Passing of Volleyball Alum Bonnie Korytowski

Three-year volleyball letterwinner was inducted into the DePaul Hall of Fame in 1993
CHICAGO – DePaul mourns the passing of volleyball alum and Hall of Famer Bonnie Kory (Korytowski) who passed away on July 21, 2022. The Chicago native and Alvernia Catholic High School graduate was a letterwinner from 1972-1974 and ushered in the Title IX era in Lincoln Park.
Kory graduated with a degree in health education in 1975 and went on to have a successful career in medical sales which took her to many places across the country including California and most recently Portland, Oregon.
In February of 1993, Kory alongside her teammate Carolyn Vellos O'Connell was inducted into the DePaul Hall of Fame where she will be remembered for her competitive and compassionate spirit.
