Blue Demons to Host Second DePaul Day at AU
CHICAGO – For the second-straight year, DePaul Athletics has partnered with Athletes Unlimited to provide Blue Demon fans an exclusive discount for "DePaul Day" at AU Softball on Sunday, Aug. 20. The day will feature a DePaul first pitch during game 2, appearances by DIBS, chances to win DePaul prizes, and more! Athletes Unlimited is a women's professional sport league, currently sponsoring four sports including basketball, volleyball, lacrosse and softball. Softball is in its third season and has played in Rosemont, Ill. since its inception in 2020.
DePaul softball assistant coach Abby Ramirez has played in the league the last two seasons and is entering her seventh professional softball season.
The Athletes Unlimited season begins on July 28 and runs for five weeks with an individual champion crowned on Aug. 27.
