DePaul Athletics Announces BIG EAST Road Trip Details

CHICAGO – DePaul Athletics welcomes the BIG EAST Road Trip into the Windy City prior to the Blue Demons men's basketball matchup against Marquette on Jan. 24. The special event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the McCormick Place Convention Center, and will host a variety of activities, including the BIG EAST Shootaround show broadcast live from 6:30 - 7 p.m.
Last week, the BIG EAST announced a 13-stop mobile tour for each city with an interactive pop-up that will roll into each city for upcoming men's and women's basketball games, culminating with stops at both the men's and women's conference tournaments in March.
Doors for the FREE event will open at 5:30 p.m. on Level 3 of the West Building of McCormick Place Convention Center. Fans are encouraged to park in Lot A, as they typically would when accessing Wintrust Arena. Game day parking rates will be in effect. The BIG EAST Shootaround show will feature appearances by the DePaul women's basketball program, the DePaul cheer and dance teams, DePaul Pep Band, and DIBS.
Activities during the event will include poster-making stations, a pop-a-shot competition, photo opportunities, the opportunity to purchase authentic, DePaul locker room chairs, and an exclusive autograph session with Mark Aguirre from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Activations will also be available from DePaul Athletics corporate partners including Starry and Coors Light. Fans in attendance can enter to win a trip to the 2024 BIG EAST Men's Basketball Tournament in New York City, including a pair of all-session tickets and a $250 airline voucher, courtesy of DePaul Athletics.
Doors to Wintrust Arena will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 8 p.m. game. Tickets can be purchased here. Complimentary student tickets are available and can be claimed at DePaulBlueDemons.com/Students.
