DePaul Takes Down WMU on Day Two of Notre Dame Invite

Blue Demon pairings defeat WMU duo in consecutive rounds
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – DePaul men's tennis wrapped up its second day at the Notre Dame Mini Dual Invite with both Blue Demon duos, Andy Hadziabdic/Jona Gitschel and Thomas Giles/Sven Moser, each securing a point in the mini dual format. Both pairings defeated Quiros/Antonopolous of WMU on Saturday, marking a strong second day of competition.
Round two singles began Saturday morning, with Hadziabdic topping Quiros in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1, to give his pairing a 2-1 edge in the green draw.
In the third round of doubles, Moser and Giles teamed up to defeat Quiros/Antonopolous in a close 7-5 match.
Moser then mirrored Hadziabdic's success in singles, besting Quiros 6-2, 6-1 to earn his duo their second mini dual victory in three rounds.
Hadziabdic finished the day with another singles win, overcoming Kajzer of WMU 7-6(3), 6-2, marking his third tournament victory.
