CHICAGO, IL — DePaul Athletics will debut a new online fundraising platform—PAC Fund, powered by Paciolan—operated collaboratively by the DePaul Athletics Ticket Office and Athletics Advancement Office. PAC Fund will provide DePaul fans with a simplified and unified online process for contributing to DePaul alongside season and single-game ticket purchases.
"DePaul Athletics is committed to innovation and enhancing the fan experience through new technologies," said Patrick Gray, Assistant Vice President for Athletics Advancement. "This transition represents a significant step forward in our revenue-generating efforts and will allow us to provide a more efficient process for our fans to donate to DePaul Athletics."
PAC Fund offers Blue Demon supporters an array of advanced features designed to streamline the giving process, including real-time giving history. The introduction of this new technology is being done in alignment with DePaul Athletics' five-year Strategic Plan, which calls for the department to "implement new technologies to support revenue growth and data centralization," as well as the Digital Presence and Philanthropic Engagement focus areas of the institution's Designing DePaul initiative.
This new technology is being implemented before 2024-25 men's basketball season ticket renewals are made available later in May. As part of the annual renewal process, DePaul Athletics will introduce a new priority point system that rewards several forms of loyalty and enhances ease of understanding and transparency through PAC Fund.
"DePaul continues to embrace technologies to elevate the fan and donor experience," said Deana Barnes, President of Paciolan. "PAC Fund provides an easy method for Blue Demon donors to support DePaul athletics, manage priority points, and access account history through a mobile-friendly interface."
The Athletics Advancement Office—the fundraising arm of the DePaul University Athletics Department—plays a crucial role in ensuring Blue Demon student-athletes have the opportunity to earn a first-class education and compete for championships. They provide the resources through student-athlete scholarships, state-of-the-art facilities, and the financial support essential for DePaul Athletics' 15 varsity sports programs to excel.
