DePaul Athletics Partners with Mamava at Wintrust Arena

CHICAGO – DePaul Athletics will partner with Mamava at Wintrust Arena, beginning with the upcoming 2024-25 season, to further the department's goal of providing an industry-leading game day experience for Blue Demon fans. The inventor of the lactation pod, Mamava provides freestanding spaces that offer a dignified, comfortable and private option to breastfeed or pump.
Mamava has provided two lactation pods for use at Wintrust Arena, which first began utilization earlier this summer at Chicago Sky games. The pods are available to game-day guests as well as employees of the team and facility. A hospital-grade breast pump for use in the pods was also provided by Medela.
The pods are accessed through the Mamava app, which guides users to a pod's location and provides secure keyless entry. Mamava has helped organizations—from airports and stadiums to schools and private businesses—support breastfeeding parents. Mamava pods can also be found at close to 50 locations across Chicago.
