DePaul rounds out event in a three-way tie for fourth

ROCHESTER, MICH.– Behind a career-best finish from senior Ryder Henares, DePaul golf finished in a three-way tie for fourth place at the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate. Henares golfed a 72 (E) on Sunday, to finish 216 (E) across the tournament.

Henares' score gave the best of finish his career, and marked his second top-10 finish. His 216 was his third best career round of 54. Riveria tied Henares on Sunday, also shooting 72 (E) for his best individual round of the weekend which allowed him to pull into the top-10. Riviera had a consistent weekend, finishing +2 with a total score of 146.

DePaul's pair of freshman, Dominic Lucchesi and Rohan Gopaldas, both rounded out their first weekend with scores of 227 (+11) and 230 (+14), respectively. While Alex Vekich was DePaul's final competitor with a score of 233 (+20).

DePaul's next competition is set to take place at the Zach Johnson Invitational, hosted by Drake University, Sept. 23-24, in West Des Moines, Iowa.
