BIG EAST Announces 2024-25 Women’s Basketball Schedule

18-game conference slate begins Dec. 21 against Butler
NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference unveiled its 2024-25 women's basketball schedule on Wednesday afternoon, detailing the 18-game league slate for DePaul with television designations and tipoff times to be announced in the coming weeks.
For the second-consecutive season, conference play features an 18-game schedule with each program playing eight opponents twice and two opponents once. The Blue Demons are set to play Connecticut (home) and Georgetown (away) on a single occasion in 2025.
Head coach Doug Bruno and the Blue Demons will begin the conference season at home when Butler visits the South Loop on Dec. 21 before Marquette comes to town after the holiday break Dec. 29.
DePaul will ring in 2025 with a pair of road games with visits to Xavier (Jan. 2) and St. John's (Jan. 7) before returning to the Windy City for a matchup with Providence Jan. 12.
A critical road stretch begins with a trip to the Main Line to face Villanova on Wednesday, Jan. 15 before hitting the road to Omaha to battle with the Bluejays of Creighton on Sunday, Jan. 18.
The Blue Demons conclude the first half of conference play with a home contest against Xavier (Jan. 22) and road tilt at Butler (Jan. 26) inside Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Coming off a run to the 2024 Final Four and its fourth-consecutive BIG EAST title, Connecticut will travel to Chicago on Jan. 29 for the lone meeting between the two programs.
February action begins at home with the first of two meetings with Seton Hall on Feb. 1 before an East Coast road swing takes the Blue Demons to Providence (Feb. 6) and Georgetown (Feb. 9).
Midway through the month, DePaul will host Villanova Feb. 12 followed by a short trip to Milwaukee to take on Marquette Feb. 15
With postseason implications sure to be at play, the Blue Demons host their penultimate home contest Feb. 23 versus Creighton before hitting the road three days later to square off against Seton Hall (Feb. 27).
The regular season will end at Wintrust Arena with the Blue Demons hosting St. John's on March 2.
The 2025 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament presented by JEEP returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for a fifth straight year, March 7-10.
