Blue Demons Downed in Sunday Shutout

DePaul falls to Princeton, 7-0
MADISON, Wis. – DePaul men's tennis put up a solid effort against Princeton on Sunday afternoon at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium but fell in a 7-0 finish. The Tigers entered the dual season with three ranked singles players and doubles pairings, presenting a tough challenge for the Blue Demons.
Unable to secure a doubles court to start the match, DePaul (0-2) dropped 6-3 decisions at both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to two top-79 ranked pairings, giving Princeton (2-0) the first point of the day.
In his Blue Demon debut, Marko Milosavljevic put up a strong fight at the No. 5 singles position, falling 5-7, 4-6 in the closest match of DePaul's outing.
Despite their best efforts, the Blue Demons fell in straight sets on the remaining courts, with Princeton showcasing its strength as one of the nation's top teams.
