Pair of Blue Demons in Top Five After Day One

HENDERSON, NEV. – Ryder Henares and Pablo Riveiro both sit in the top five after the first round at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate. The duo helped DePaul earn a team score of 293 (+5) to sit in seventh place ahead of the second and third round.

Billy Gnesier will tee off first for DePaul on Tuesday as the Blue Demons open the second round. Gneiser is scheduled to tee off at 11:10 a.m. CT.

Henares and Riveiro both shot 69 (-3), marking season low for Henares and Riveiro's second round of 18 this season under 70. Rohan Gopaldas sits in 62^nd with a score of 78 (+6) following the first round as Dom Lucchesi rounded out DePaul's counters with a 78 (+7). Lucchesi started on the back nine, but finished even at par on the front nine.

Hank Schaefer also competed as an individual scoring 83 (+11) and sitting in a tie with Billy Gneiser in 89^th.
