
Lucchesi Has Strong Day Two at Lake Las Vegas Invitational

HENDERSON, NEV. – DePaul freshman Dominic Lucchesi rebounded nicely for a strong second round Tuesday at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational. After finishing day one +6, Lucchesi scored a team-best 70 (-2) on Tuesday to move up 13 individual spots.
The Lake Las Vegas Invitational concludes with a final round of 18 on Wednesdaay. The event will start with a shotgun start as Pablo Riviero tees off first for DePaul at 10:30 a.m. CT.
Ryder Henares and Riviero remain inside the top-25 following the second round. Henares shot an even-par of 72 on the day, remaining three under for the tournament in a tie for 11th. Riviero shot 75 (+3) that kept him even at par across the tournament and in 24th. Rohan Gopaldas rounded out DePaul's counters with a 73 (+1) on Tuesday.
DePaul as a team shot 290 (+2), shaving off three strokes from Monday's first round. Hank Schafer, competing as an individual, shot 76 (+4) to move up three spots on the leaderboard and followed in the overall standings by Billy Gneiser in 89th.
