Golf Concludes Regular-Season in West Lafayette Sunday

WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. – After a slow start on day one in West Lafayette, DePaul shot the second-best round in the field Sunday at the Boilermaker Invitational. The Blue Demons posted a combined 283 (-1), improve their team score by 12 strokes from round 2. The 283 ties for the fourth-best team round of 18 this season for DePaul.
Rohan Gopaldas led the way in round three with a personal best round of 18 score of 67 (-4). He notched six birdies, including four in a six-hole stretch on the front nine to finish in 53rd. Gopaldas round of 67 was the lowest of any Blue Demon this season.
Right behind Gopaldas in the final standings was Dominic Lucchesi, who tied for 57th after shooting a 70 (-1) Sunday. Hank Schaefer tied a season-best in the third round with a 72 (+1) to finish the event with a score of 226 (+13) in 80th. Ryder Henares rounded out the scoring in round three with a 74 (+3) while Pablo Riveiro shot a 76 (+5).
DePaul turns its attention to the BIG EAST Golf Championships, set for April 26-28 in Okatie S.C. The event is set to take place at Callawassie Island Golf Course.
