Blue Demons and Wolverines tipoff at 2 p.m. at Wish Field
CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer opens its 2025 preseason schedule with the first of a pair of exhibition matches on Friday, Aug. 8 when Michigan visits Wish Field for a 2 p.m. kickoff. Admission is free for all fans at every DePaul soccer match this season.
The Blue Demons welcome back 20 returners from last season's squad that advanced to the BIG EAST Tournament for the first time in nearly a decade. 2024 BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year Noeh Hernandez returns for his junior campaign after ranking second in points in the conference in last season with 25. Juniors Keagan Pace and Liam Mullins are back on the front line after the duo netted three goals apiece last season to go with five and four assists, respectively.
DePaul also returns a veteran-laden midfield anchored by Callum Watts and Tyson Amoo-Mensah in addition to a back-line led by Ethan Gordon, Christian Baumgartner and Ryan Thomas. Graduate student Santiago Davila is back as netminder for the Blue Demons after appearing in goal in all 17 matches last season.
A season ago, Michigan went 9-5-7 and advanced to the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Chaka Daley, in his 14th season leading the Wolverines, welcomes back 19 letterwinners and added 12 newcomers to the 2025 squad.
Following Friday's match, the Blue Demons will continue their preseason competition slate with a matchup at Saint Louis on Saturday, Aug. 16. Kickoff from Hermann Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.
DePaul will open the regular season and kickoff a six-match homestand Aug. 21 when Purdue Fort Wayne visits Lincoln Park. First touch from Wish Field is at 4 p.m.
