Golf Completes Day One at Giles-Spratley Collegiate

MIDLOTHIAN, VA. – DePaul golf completed day one of action at the Giles-Spratley Collegiate on Monday, playing 36 holes at Independence Golf Course. The Blue Demons sit in 14th place at 586 (+10) ahead of Tuesday's final round which tees off at 7 a.m. CT.

Rohan Gopaldas turned in a season-best round of 69 (-3) in his second round and sits tied for 41st overall at 146 (+2). He is joined by Billy Gneiser, who also sits tied for 41st at 146 (+2).

Dominic Lucchesi and North Chery are tied for 53rd at 148 (+4) to round out DePaul's four counting scores. Chery recorded a 71 (-1) in his opening round, marking his ninth under-par round of the season, while Lucchesi was boosted by an eagle on hole 15 in the second round. Sam Mortell rounded out the lineup with a 156 (+12).
