DePaul Athletics Named NACMA Marketing Team of the Year

Blue Demons honored in nine additional categories
CHICAGO – DePaul University Athletics won the 2026 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Marketing Team of the Year, at the Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas on Monday.
DePaul earned NACMA's top prize in Group II over teams from Creighton University and Southeast Missouri State University. The team led by Nina Goodhue, DePaul's Associate Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Experience, claimed its first NACMA Team of the Year award in school history. In its 14th year, the Marketing Team of the Year Award was created to highlight the impact a marketing team has not only in the athletics department but also on campus and surrounding communities.Â
"DePaul Athletics is building something special, and this award reflects the vision and effort our team brings every single day," said Goodhue. "We have a team that's deeply invested in this athletic department, from the way we present our brand to the experiences we create for fans inside and outside the arena. To be recognized for that work among so many outstanding programs means a great deal. We're proud to represent the DePaul community at the highest level of our industry."
In addition to collecting Team of the Year honors, DePaul received additional recognition by winning or earning podium finishes in nine other categories. The Blue Demons took first place in five different categories: Branded Static Collateral, Branded Dynamic Collateral, Game Day Experience, Multiplatform Branding Campaign and Quick Sales Campaign.
The team placed second in the Single Game Attendance/Sellout Campaign and Viral Social initiative while securing bronze in Community Engagement as well as Digital Media Engagement.
The 2026 NACMA Awards Ceremony is a part of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Convention taking place June 7-10 in Las Vegas.
