DePaul Finishes Five-Under Par in First Tournament of the Season

JUPITER, FLA. – For the first time in program history, DePaul golf finished five under par to open the fall portion of its 2026-27 season. The Blue Demons notched a team score of 859 (-5) to finish sixth Tuesday afternoon at the FAU Invitational. The team's overall score ties for the fourth-best round of 54 in program history dating back to 2000-01.
DePaul's outing was highlighted by a pair of stellar performances from Rizq Adam Rohizam and Frederik Richardson who both finished the event with a 209 (-7) for a sixth place tie. Rohizam rounded out his event with a 69 (-3) on Tuesday afternoon, including an eagle on the 10th hole. Richardson made a splash in his debut, equaling the 209 and a top-10 finish to open his collegiate career.
Rohan Gopaldas picked up right where he left off in 2025-26, with his steady and consistent play. He finished Tuesday with a 215 (-1) and tie for 28th overall. The Blue Demons counting scores were rounded out by Finlay Eager, who also made his collegiate debut, with a 226 (+10).
