In collaboration with its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee, DePaul Athletics hosted "Women of Color in Sports. Our stories, Our Words", a virtual panel featuring a number of women who have made an impact in the sports industry. Panelists for the event include current DePaul womens basketball assistant coach Candace Blankson, DePaul track & field coach Stephanie Townsend, DePaul assistant in athletic development and advancement Andrea Clark, athletic academic advisor India Steward, and Alabama State University director of athletics Jennifer Williams.

The So You Want To Work In Sports webinar series was developed through the Hiring and Retention Committee as means of connecting current DePaul students with a broader network of DePaul alumni, increasing their knowledge of careers in sports, and expanding the pool of diverse, qualified candidates for roles in the world of Athletics. These moderated discussions feature DePaul Athletics alumni, University faculty, and current DePaul Athletics staff and provide viewers with exclusive industry insight, cross-functional dialogue, and advice on entering the workforce.Â
