Jamya is a third-year member of the DePaul Cheer Team and is currently serving as co-captain.
During her sophomore season in 2022-23, Jamya performed at volleyball, men's and women's basketball homes games, in addition to representing DePaul at NCA Nationals. During her rookie season, she also cheered at the 2022 NCAA Women's Basketball First Four.
She has been a cheerleader for 13 years, including two in All-Star, eight in recreational and four in high school.
