Cowan Olinger

Cowan Olinger joined the DePaul men's basketball staff in July 2025. Olinger comes to Lincoln Park following three seasons on staff at Western Michigan where he served as the Broncos Director of Basketball Operations.
Olinger arrived in Kalamazoo following five seasons at Miami (Ohio) where he worked with current DePaul assistant coach, Jack Owens, as the programs director of basketball operations and graduate assistant. During his time with the RedHawks, Olinger was responsible for all behind-the-scenes and video operations of the program. He served as a student-manager at Purdue from 2013-17, spending his final season as the program’s head manager.
Olinger earned his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue in 2017 and his master’s degree in Sport Leadership and Management from Miami in 2019.
