Dan Pawlikowski

Dan Pawlikowski enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Blue Demons in 2026 after joining the program in January 2025.
In his first season at DePaul, Pawlikowski helped the Blue Demons continue their upward trajectory, contributing to a postseason berth and the development of multiple All-BIG EAST performers. He works closely with player development and brings more than two decades of collegiate and international coaching experience to the program.
Prior to DePaul, Pawlikowski spent two seasons as associate head coach at Michigan. During his tenure with the Wolverines, the program improved from 7-22 to 18-13 overall, including a 12-5 home record in 2024. Before Michigan, Pawlikowski served as an assistant coach at UNLV during the 2022 season, helping the Rebels compile a 26-5 overall record and a 17-1 mark in conference play.
Prior to returning to the collegiate ranks, Pawlikowski spent three years coaching professional volleyball in Denmark. During the 2021-22 season, he was the head coach of Brøndby Volleyball Club, leading the team to a Denmark Cup National Championship. Before his time with Brøndby, he worked with Gentofte Volley in Copenhagen as the men’s head coach and women’s assistant coach. He guided the men’s program to two Danish League Championships and back-to-back undefeated seasons, compiling a 42-0 record from 2019-21.
A native of Illinois, Pawlikowski served as the second head men's volleyball coach in Dominican University history from 2017-19. In his first season, he led the program to the inaugural Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament championship and helped the Stars earn the program's second NCAA Division III Tournament berth. During his tenure, he coached AVCA All-American Luke Spicer and All-America honorable mention selection Ethan Klosak.
No stranger to Chicago, Pawlikowski began his collegiate coaching career at Loyola Chicago in 2004, spending three seasons as an assistant men's volleyball coach. His coaching career has also included stops at North Park, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and Stony Brook.
Pawlikowski graduated from the University of Illinois in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in English literature and a minor in cinema studies. He resides in Chicago with his wife, Coley.
