Drew Bryson joined the DePaul men's basketball staff in May 2021 as is the program’s video coordinator. He was named to Chris Holtmann's staff in April 2024 as Director of Video & Scouting.
Bryson was on the staff in 2020-21 at Texas Tech as the Red Raiders reached the NCAA Tournament after spending the entire season ranked in the AP top 25. Prior to Texas Tech, Bryson was a graduate assistant at Boise State for two seasons that saw the Broncos notch a 20-win season in 2019-20.
A native of Elkhorn, Wis., Bryson returns to the Midwest where he played and coached at UW-Whitewater. During his playing career from 2013-17, the Warhawks won the 2014 NCAA Division III National Championship while making two other appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Following his four seasons on the court, Bryson was a student assistant coach during the 2017-18 campaign.
He was a two-year team captain for the Warhawks and led the team to Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament title during the 2015-16 season. His teams also made three NCAA Tournament appearances that included the 2014 national title.
