Josiah Turner-Mister assumed the role of special assistant to the head coach, Jill M. Pizzotti announced in June of 2025

Turner-Mister remains in Lincoln Park after most recently serving as a Sport & Event Operations Graduate Assistant at DePaul. During his two-year tenure, Turner-Mister assisted with team travel, accommodations and meals for men’s and women’s soccer and softball while also playing a vital role in the men’s and women’s basketball gameday experience at Wintrust Arena.

The Chicago native spent two seasons as men’s basketball student manager from 2021-2023 where he coordinated travel, meals and equipment as well as helped with on court player development.

Turner-Mister earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport Management from DePaul’s Driehaus College of Business in June of 2023 before completing his Master of Science in Management this month.
