Tom Judge is a chaplain with the Division of Mission and Ministry and serves as chaplain to DePaul Athletics. He collaborates with athletics to support spiritual programming, service and justice opportunities, and Vincentian formation for student athletes, coaches and athletics administrators. Judge strongly believes that participation in sports can bring joy and meaning to life as well as cultivate qualities of leadership, resilience and altruism. During his time with athletics, he has been honored to attend the Sport at the Service of Humanity Conference, collaborate with BIG EAST Chaplains, engage in community service in Chicago and beyond, work side by side with exceptional professionals, and cheer on outstanding Blue Demon athletes in a variety of settings.

Judge has studied counseling at DePaul, religion at the University of Chicago, law at the University of Iowa and liberal arts at Creighton University. While at Creighton, he was a member of the men’s cross country and men’s swim teams. In addition to his role with athletics, he is part of the Faculty and Staff Engagement team with the Division of Mission and Ministry and, along with his colleagues, enjoys serving a multi-faith population of students, faculty and staff throughout the university. He is blessed to be part of the life-giving, challenging, inspiring community that is DePaul.
