Joe Owerko’s career with DePaul Men’s Soccer ran from 1983 to 1985. By graduation, Owerko was second all-time in total points (73). Additionally, Owerko tied first all time in goals (28) and fourth all time in assists (17).

In 1985, Owerko amassed the record for most points in a season (37), tied for third in most goals in a season (14) and ranked second in assists (9). Owerko was in 1985 Team MVP and was a letter winner throughout his DePaul career (1983-1985).
