CHICAGO (October 5) -- Due to a scheduling conflict, DePaul's opponent for the opening game of the 2000-01 men's basketball season has been changed from Fairleigh Dickinson to Lewis, Blue Demon Athletic Director Bill Bradshaw announced today.
The game will be played on Friday, November 17 at the Allstate Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
"We are very grateful that Lewis could step in and fill the void in our schedule at such a late date," Bradshaw said.
The Blue Demons and Flyers have met eight times with DePaul winning all eight. The last meeting was a 92-67 Blue Demon victory on December 16, 1975 at Alumni Hall.
