The Blue Demons (21-11) topped the Blazers (6-24) three games to none (15-1, 15-11, 15-3). DePaul ran through the match in just over and hour and will face Houston in the quarterfinals, Friday at 3 p.m.

In her first match since being named C-USA Setter of the Year, Kara Jakusz passed out 37 assists while the team hit .294 for the match. "Kara drove home the point that she deserved setter of the year; she had a great match today," said Dockstader.
"I think overall we gained confidence heading into the Houston match. We needed to build a little momentum and we did that," said Dockstader.
