Men's Soccer Falls at South Florida

TAMPA, Fla. – In the first of two games in the state of Florida, the DePaul Blue Demons lost, 2-0, at South Florida on Friday night. With the loss, the Blue Demons dropped to 2-9-2 overall and 1-4-2 in Conference USA matches.
Gabriel Salgado scored the first of his two goals in the 13th minute to give the Bulls the early 1-0 lead. Salgado struck again midway through the second half with a goal at 66:41 for the 2-0 final.
DePaul had opportunities as they got off 10 shots compared to 13 for South Florida. Blue Demon goalkeeper Jeff Klitzke totaled two saves while facing the 13 shots.
The final game of the Florida trip will be Sunday afternoon at Stetson University in Deland. Kickoff is set for noon central time.
