Offensive Explosion!

CHICAGO – DePaul had five players score in double figures en route to a 114-96 win over the EA Sports All-Stars in the exhibition opener on Thursday at the Athletic Center.
Senior Lance Williams led the Blue Demons with 20 points while freshman Drake Diener added 18 (on 4-6 3pt. shooting). Andre Brown chipped in with 16 points (along with a team-high seven rebounds) while Joe Tulley added 15 points (3-3 3pt. shooting) and Marlon London had 10.
The Blue Demons never trailed in the contest, running out to a 52-46 halftime lead. The advantage steadily grew throughout the second half and DePaul posted its biggest lead of the game at 25 points (114-89) with eight seconds remaining.
Head coach Pat Kennedy’s squad will be in action again on Sunday when it hosts the Illinois All-Stars in the final exhibition game of the season.
