Luke Rojo Earns All-Freshman Honors

CHICAGO - DePaul University midfielder Luke Rojo was chosen by the Conference USA soccer coaches as one of the top freshman of the 2001 season. Rojo is the third consecutive Blue Demons to receive All-Freshman honors after Travis Brown last season and Casey Carr in 1999.
The Downers Grove, Illinois, native played in all 16 matches for the Blue Demons this season while starting 15 times. He scored his first collegiate goal at Loyola on Oct. 17 and also assisted a score in the 3-3 tie against Louisville.
The Blue Demons finished the 2001 campaign with a 3-13-2 overall record and 2-6-2 record in Conference USA play.
