Jakusz Earns Academic All-District Honors

CHICAGO – DePaul’s Kara Jakusz was named to Verizon Academic All-District V team as selected by CoSIDA it was announced today.

Jakusz is now eligible to be on the Verizon Academic All-American team which will be announced later in the year.

A senior from Lemont, Ill., Kara carries a 3.72 GPA in Finance. She was named the 2000 Conference USA Women’s Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

On the court, Jakusz currently ranks 12thin the nation in assists per game and is seventh in NCAA history in assists per game and 10^th in total assists.
