Blue Demons Set To Meet Notre Dame

DePaul enters today's contest with a 2-1 record after drilling Youngstown State 107-69 on Sunday at the Allstate Arena. Notre Dame is 6-0 after beating Army 86-49 on Wednesday in South Bend.
Polls
Notre Dame is receiving votes in this week's Associated Press poll while neither team is mention in the ESPN/USA Today Top 25 poll.
Series
Notre Dame leads series 47-41 and this is the first meeting since December 1994 when DePaul won 61-48 at the United Center. The Blue Demons have won the last five meetings. The last Notre Dame victory was in January 1992 at South Bend. The 88 games are the second most against any opponent and the most against any non-conference foe.
Coaches
DePaul’s Pat Kennedy is in his 22nd season as a head coach and his fifth with the Blue Demons. He has a 386-258 career record, including a 60-67 slate with the Blue Demons. Pat, who entered the season ranked 30th among active coaches in victories, has never faced the Fighting Irish as a head coach. Mike Brey is in his second season at Notre Dame and seventh as a head coach. He is 125-62 overall and 26-10 with the Irish.

Fox Sports Net will televise today's game to a national audience. Steve Physioc (play-by-play), Marques Johnson (color commentary) and Eric Collins (sidelines) will handle the announcing duties.
