DePaul is 3-4 after losing to Murray State 69-65 on Tuesday in Rosemont. Long Island is 0-6 after losing to Central Connecticut State 107-78 on Wednesday in Long Island.

Series
DePaul leads the all-time series 8-4. The first meeting was in 1937 at Madison Square Garden and the last contest was on December 28, 1972, a 93-61 DePaul win at Alumni Hall. Nine of the 12 meetings between these two teams have been played at Madison Square Garden.
Coaches
DePaul’s Pat Kennedy is in his 22nd season as a head coach and his fifth with the Blue Demons. He has a 387-261 career record, including a 61-70 slate with the Blue Demons. Pat, who entered the season ranked 30th among active coaches is 1-1 against Long Island. Ray Martin is in his fourth season as a head coach, all of them at Long Island. He is 30-58 and has never faced the Blue Demons as a head coach.
