CHICAGO – DePaul backs its standout middle, Lara Marks, on its way to Milwaukee this Tuesday to face the Panthers. Marks leads all of Conference USA in hitting percentage with a .344. She also ranks in the top ten within the conference in block percentage. Twelve solo blocks and 47 assisted blocks this season gives Marks a percentage of 1.11 blocks per game.
Rested and ready, the Blue Demons are anxious to play in their match against Milwaukee and continue on to conference play.
“I’m really excited,” says Coach Dockstader. “We’ve had a great week of practice and the girls had the weekend off to rest any aches and pains. We’re looking forward to playing UW-Milwaukee again and then to head into conference.”
UW-Milwaukee, coached by Kathy Litzau, approaches Tuesday night with a 5-10 record. Sarah Potts and Karen Fruit continue to lead their team in stats both offensively and defensively. Lindsey Spoden sets for the Panthers and has totaled 496 assists this year.
