DePaul will face off against Southern Miss on Friday evening in Hattiesburg Mississippi. The Golden Eagles are led by senior Bridget Files and junior Amy Truong. Files ranks third in C-USA behind DePaul’s Lara Marks in blocks per game, while Truong was named as the co-player of the week in C-USA last week. Truong tallied six service aces and 21 digs last week while averaging 13.12 assists per game.
The Blue Demons will then drive on Saturday to New Orleans to battle the Green Waves of Tulane. Tulane is off to an 18-2 start and are 4-0 in Conference USA.
