Powerful hitting from junior Janet Goreham and Lara Marks was not enough to tame the Memphis Tigers. Goreham recorded a team high 12 kills and a .385 hitting percentage, while. Marks knocked down eight balls for a .375 hitting percentage.
“I am pleased with our middles, Lara Marks and Janet Goreham. I am asked them to have a big night, and they came through,” Dockstader said.
The Blue Demons would capture the first points of the match but they could not stop
Defensively, senior Janet Cotter led the Blue Demons with 14 digs. Marks also assisted with five blocks. DePaul tallied seven team blocks.
The Blue Demons will be back in action next weekend as they travel to
