The Last Meeting
Northwestern used an 11-0 run late in the second half to rally for a 56-52 victory over the Blue Demons at Welsh-Ryan Arena on December 15, 2004. Vedran Vukusic earned the Waldo Fisher-Frank McGrath Award as the game's MVP after scoring 17 points to lead the Wildcats. The Blue Demons were led by Quemont Greer's game-high 20 points.
