Adam Hermsen Earns Academic All-District Honor

CHICAGO – DePaul senior forward Adam Hermsen was named to the ESPN The Magazine District V Academic All-District team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). As a first team All-District honor, Hermsen is on the ballot for the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America team.
Hermsen led the Blue Demons this season with 11 points on five goals and an assist. He finished his DePaul career ranked 24th all-time with 22 points via eight goals and six assists. The Roscoe, Ill. native was also a two-time member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
DePaul finished the year with an overall record of 4-11-2 and a 2-8-1 record in BIG EAST play. The 2005 season marked the first year of competition in the BIG EAST for DePaul.
