Men's Soccer Loses at Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. – The DePaul men's soccer team allowed a pair of first-half goals in a 2-0 loss to Bradley at the Holiday Inn City Centre Classic in Peoria. Teddy Anderson scored both goals to lead the Braves.
Bradley (1-0) totaled 13 shots in the first half as DePaul was unable to tally any attempts. The Blue Demons matched Bradley in the second period as they took six shots compared to nine for the home team.
Anderson's first goal came at 23:29 off assists from Zach Bell and Will Shelton. Bell teamed up with Anderson again just over four minutes later for the second score of the match.
Goalkeeper Brian Visser finished the match with five saves while facing a total of 22 shots. DePaul (0-1) took six shots with Bradley's Chis Dunsheath credited with a pair of saves.
The Blue Demons take on Western Illinois at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Leathernecks lost, 1-0, to Butler in the opening game of the tournament on Friday evening.
