Nine players registered kills for the Irish as they out hit the Blue Demons 48 kills to 25. Christina Kaelin and Serinity Phillips, who only played the first two games, led Notre Dame with nine kills each. Kaelin led all players with .667 (9-1-12) attack percentage while Phillips finished with a .429 hitting percentage.
The Blue Demons fought tough in the first game but came up short. Notre Dame took an early 14-7 lead that forced DePaul head coach Amy Kleyweg to call a time out. Following the timeout, the Blue Demons offense came alive, behind the precision hitting of seniors Morgan Ingersoll and Ellen Hayes, who led the team with four kills apiece while junior Aly Zavitz followed with three. Notre Dame won the first frame 30-22 behind the hot hitting of Phillips, who paced the floor with six kills and a .625 attack percentage.
The Irish offense heated up in the final two games as they hit .375 and registered 17 kills in the second frame and hit .480 in the final set.
Ingersoll led the Blue Demons with nine kills, while Zavitz led the squad with a .176 attack percentage (7-4-17). Sophomore libero, Maureen Zigulich finished with a team-high 11 digs.

Notre Dame improves to 8-4 in the all-time series with the Blue Demons… with 10.5 points, senior Morgan Ingersoll eclipsed the 1000 point mark and now has 1004.0 points in her career... sophomore Maureen Zigulich's 11 digs tied her output against Notre Dame in 2005.
