For the second time this season, the Blue Demons fought to a fifth frame and came up empty. After dropping the first game 30-21, the Blue Demons bounced back to convincingly win the second frame 30-20.
In the second set, junior Stacy Pando and senior Morgan Ingersoll each hit over .300 and combined for seven of the Blue Demons' 10 kills. After trading sideouts in the early portion of game two, the Blue Demons tied the game at 13 and closed out the game on a 17-7 run.
The third game mirrored the second, except it was UWGB, who went on a long run and won, 30-21.
