The Last Meeting
Tony Bennett had 18 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals to push Bradley to a 75-60 win over DePaul in the 2005-06 season opener for both squads at the Allstate Arena. Marcellus Sommerville had 17 points and Lawrence Wright 13 for the Braves. Karron Clarke led the Blue Demons with a game-high 19 points while Marcus Heard added 15.
The Coaches
Jerry Wainwright is starting his second season at DePaul and his 13th as a head coach. He is 198-159 overall and 12-15 with the Blue Demons. Wainwright is 0-1 against Bradley. Jim Les is opening his fifth season as a head coach, all at Bradley. Les is 62-60 including a 2-1 slate against the Blue Demons.
